What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
