And the trumpet shall be blown, and lo! from the tombs unto their Lord they shall be hastening. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 Today, no soul shall be wronged a thing. You shall not be recompensed except according to your deeds. 54 Indeed, the people of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves: 55 They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches. 56 therein they have fruits, and they have all that they call for. 57 Peace: a word from a Merciful Lord. 58 [And God will say], "Separate yourselves from the righteous this Day, you criminals. 59 ۞ “O Descendants of Adam! Did I not take a covenant from you that you shall not worship the devil? Undoubtedly, he is your open enemy.” 60 "And that ye should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way? 61 Yet he has led many a host of you astray, did you not understand? 62 This is Hell which you were promised! 63 endure it today as an outcome of your persistent denial of the truth!" 64 On that Day We shall set a seal on their mouths but their hands will speak unto Us, and their feet will bear witness to whatever they have earned [in life]. 65 Had it been Our will We would have obliterated their sight so that they raced to the Path. But, how would they see? 66 Had it been Our will We would have transmuted them (into monkeys, pigs and stones) where they were, so that they could neither go forward nor yet return. 67
