If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners, 71 and that We have subjected them to men's will, so that some of them they may use for riding and of some they may eat, 72 They derive a variety of benefits and drinks from them. Will they, then, not give thanks? 73 They chose idols besides God in the hope of receiving help from them, but they will not be able to help them. 74 they are unable to succour their devotees, even though to them they may [appear to] be hosts drawn up [for succour]. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee. Verily We! We know whatsoever they keep secret and whatsoever they make known. 76 Does not man see that We have created him from Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge semen drops). Yet behold! He (stands forth) as an open opponent. 77 He strikes for Us a similitude and forgot his own creation. He says: “Who will quicken the bones when they have decayed?” 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 Who gave you fire from a green tree, with which you ignite the flame." 80 "Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)! 81 His command, when He desires a thing, is to say to it 'Be,' and it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
