Hizb 46
< random >
Jonah was certainly a Messenger. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish until the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you decide? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful! 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 can lure away from God any 162 unless it be such as rushes towards the blazing fire [of his own accord]! 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 But (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know! 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 So turn thou from them for a while, 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Hallowed be thine Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they ascribe! 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
