And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 from Pharaoh, who ranked high in sin, 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial. 33 Most surely these do say: 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring us our fathers, if what you say is true' 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba, and those who had lived before them, whom We destroyed as they were sinners? 37 It was not in idle sport that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We created them not save in truth; but most of them know it not. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 the Day when no friend shall be of the least avail to his friend, and when none shall be succoured 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
