The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 and you shall be three bands -- 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And [banana] trees layered [with fruit] 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And water gushing, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 We have made them virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
