Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
