Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
