The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
