When We substitute one revelation for another,- and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages),- they say, "Thou art but a forger": but most of them understand not. 101 Say: The holy Spirit hath delivered it from thy Lord with truth, that it may confirm (the faith of) those who believe, and as guidance and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah). 102 And We know very well that they say, 'Only a mortal is teaching him.' The speech of him at whom they hint is barbarous; and this is speech Arabic, manifest. 103 Those who do not believe in the words of God are verily not guided by God. For them is severe punishment. 104 It is those who believe not in the Signs of Allah, that forge falsehood: it is they who lie! 105 As for one who denies God after he has believed, with the exception of one who is forced to do it, while his heart rests securely in faith, but one who opens his heart to a denial of truth shall incur the wrath of God; such as these will have a terrible punishment. 106 For they loved the life of this world more than the life to come; and God does not guide those who do not believe. 107 They are the ones upon whose hearts and hearing and eyes Allah has set a seal. They are utterly steeped in heedlessness. 108 Undoubtedly they in the Hereafter shall be the very losers. 109 ۞ Those who left their homes for the cause of God after they had been persecuted, strove hard for His cause and exercised patience should know (even though they had verbally renounced their faith) that your Lord is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 110
