[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
