The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 There is no doubt that this book is a guide for the pious; 2 Who believe in the Unknown and fulfil their devotional obligations, and spend in charity of what We have given them; 3 And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. 4 Such people are on the right way from their Lord and such are truly successful. 5 Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and hearing and their vision is veiled; a great punishment awaits them. 7
