O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Medinah do not desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain your neighbours in Medinah except for a few days. 60 bereft of God's grace, they shall be seized wherever they may be found, and slain one and all. 61 Such has been God's way with those who [sinned in like manner and] passed away aforetime - and never wilt thou find any change in God's way! 62 The people will ask you about the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is with Allah alone, what makes you to know that the Hour is near' 63 Verily, God has rejected the deniers of the truth, and has readied for them a blazing fire, 64 therein they shall abide for ever. They shall find none to protect or help them. 65 On the Day whereon their faces shall be rolled in the Fire, they will say: Oh that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed the apostle! 66 And they will say: our Lord! verily we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they led us astray from the way. 67 O our Lord! give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse. 68
