۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
