[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
