Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Verily along with every hardship is ease. 6 So when thou art empty, labour, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
