In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
