The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
