Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
