Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 Many a face will be disgraced on that day. 2 laboring, wornout, 3 Scorched by burning fire, 4 and will be made to drink from a fiercely boiling spring. 5 no food for them except thorny plants 6 Which shall neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 On that very Day some faces shall be radiant with joy, 8 Glad for their effort past, 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 Where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood, 11 Therein will be a running spring, 12 and raised couches, 13 well arranged goblets, 14 And cushions ranged! 15 And rich carpets (all) spread out. 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 And the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And at the mountains - how they are erected? 19 And at the earth, how it is spread out? 20 Admonish thou then; thou art but an admonisher. 21 and are not invested with the authority to compel them. 22 But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 Certainly, it is to Us that they will return. 25 Then, surely, it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
