We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
