And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Do not even cast your eyes towards the worldly goods We have granted to different kinds of people, nor grieve over the state they are in, but turn your loving attention to the believers instead, 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 As to what they did. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
