They ask you about revelation. Say, revelation is by the command of your Lord, and that you have been given but little knowledge. 85 If We pleased, We would certainly take away that which We have revealed to you, then you would find no guardian for you against Us, 86 except through the special mercy of your Lord. His favours towards you has been great indeed. 87 Say: "Surely, if mankind and jinn were to get together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they will never be able to produce the like of it, howsoever they might help one another." 88 Indeed, We have set forth for mankind in this Koran every kind of parable, yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 89 They say, 'We will not believe thee till thou makest a spring to gush forth from the earth for us, 90 Or [until] you have a garden of palm tress and grapes and make rivers gush forth within them in force [and abundance] 91 or, until you cause the sky to fall upon us in pieces, as you have claimed, or, as a surety bring Allah with the angels in front; 92 or you have a house made of gold; or you ascend to heaven; and we will not believe in your ascension until you send down to us a Book that we can read." Tell them, "Holy is my Lord. I am but a human being sent as a messenger." 93
