۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
