We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
