The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the fig and the olive 1 By Mount Sinai, 2 and by this inviolable city, Mecca. 3 surely We created man in the best mould; 4 Thereafter We cause him to return to the lowest of the low, 5 except the believers who do good works, for theirs shall be an unfailing recompense. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the best of the Judges? 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
