۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
