Hizb 46

And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 148 (Muhammad), ask them, "Do daughters belong to your Lord and sons to them? 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 So you and your deities 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); 164 we are the rangers, 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 They say, 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 and watch. They, too, will watch. 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
