The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
