Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 Appoint for me of my folk a familiar, 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 To strengthen me 31 And let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 “And speak to him courteously, that perhaps he may ponder or have some fear.” 44 The twain said: O our Lord! verily we fear that he may hasten against us or wax exorbitant. 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither erreth nor forgetteth, 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
