(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
