Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
