Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
