Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
