The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 It is the piercing star. 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He was created of spurting water 6 That is issued from between the backs and the ribs. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 upon the day when the secrets are tried, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By the sky which returns [rain] 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 and is no idle tale. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.
