The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 That is the Book, wherein is no doubt, a guidance to the godfearing 2 who believe in the unseen, and are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided them with; 3 Who believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to those before you, and are certain of the Hereafter. 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 6 God has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a covering, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement. 7
