The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 Like pearls safely hidden. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And couches raised up. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
