Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid. 40 And believe in that I have sent down, confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And sell not My signs for a little price; and fear you Me. 41 Do not mix truth with falsehood and do not deliberately hide the truth 42 Be firm in devotion; give zakat (the due share of your wealth for the welfare of others), and bow with those who bow (before God). 43 ۞ Would you order righteousness on others and forget it yourselves? Yet you recite the Book, have you no sense? 44 And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] 45 who know with certainty that they shall meet their Sustainer and that unto Him they shall return. 46
