The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
