And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
