The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Night as it conceals (the light); 1 And by oath of the day when it shines 2 and by the creation of the male and the female. 3 Indeed, your efforts are diverse. 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 We will facilitate for him the easy end. 7 But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need 8 And gives the lie to the best,- 9 For him We shall ease the way of adversity, 10 And his substance will avail him not when he perisheth. 11 Surely it is for Us to show the Right Way, 12 And to Us belong the End and the Beginning. 13 So, I warn you of the blazing Fire. 14 none shall enter it but the most wicked, 15 who belied and turned away, 16 and from which the most godfearing shall be removed, 17 he that spends his possessions [on others] so that he might grow in purity 18 and confers no favour on any man for recompense, 19 but only out of a longing for the countenance of his Sustainer, the All-Highest: 20 He verily will be content. 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.
