Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7
Proclaim, “Who guards you night and day from the Most Gracious?” In fact they have turned away from the remembrance of their Lord. 42 Have they gods who defend them beside Us? They are not able to succour themselves, and against Us they cannot be kept company with. 43 Nay, We gave the luxuries of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them. See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will overcome. 44 Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation": But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned! 45 Were only the slightest whiff from your Lord's punishment to touch them, they would cry out: "Woe to us; we were indeed wrong-doers." 46 And We shall set up balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it. And Sufficient are We as Reckoners. 47 And We had already given Moses and Aaron the criterion and a light and a reminder for the righteous 48 for those who fear their Lord without seeing Him and dread the Hour (of Reckoning). 49 And this is a blessed Remembrance that We have sent down; so are you now denying it? 50
