۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 Besides Allah, then lead them to the way to hell. 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 What is the matter with you that you do not help each other? 25 Indeed, today they are surrendering themselves completely.” 26 And they will approach one another blaming each other. 27 They said, “It is you who used to come to us from our right, in order to sway.” 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 We had no authority over you, but you were an insolent nation. 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 Surely thus do We deal with the guilty. 34 Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant 35 and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 In fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the Messengers (who were sent before him). 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 For them there is a known provision, 41 Fruits! And they shall be honoured. 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 (Sitting) on couches, face to face, 44 A cup from a gushing spring is brought round for them, 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache. 47 And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes, 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 Said one of the speakers: "I had a friend 51 Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth? 52 after we die and become dust and bones, we shall be brought to judgement?'" 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 and then he looks and sees that [companion of his] in the midst of the blazing fire, 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 Truly, this is a great victory!" 60 For the like of this, then, let them labour, those who labour [in God's way]! 61 So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 (The people of Hell) will surely eat of it, filling their bellies with it. 66 Then after it, indeed for them is the drink of boiling hot water. 67 Then to Hell they will surely be returned. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 But they make haste (to follow) in their footsteps. 70 And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, 71 and We had sent among them Messengers to warn them. 72 See how terrible was the end of those who were warned. 73 Save the bondmen of Allah sincere. 74
