The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 and by the promised Day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 As they sat around it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
