۞ And We verily gave Abraham of old his proper course, and We were Aware of him, 51 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: what are these images to which ye are cleaving? 52 They said: We found our fathers worshippers of them. 53 He said, "Indeed ye have been in manifest error - ye and your fathers." 54 They said: "Have you brought us the truth, or are you one of those who play about?" 55 He said: Aye! your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth Who created them, and as to that I am of the witnesses. 56 I swear by God I will do something to your idols when you have turned your backs and gone." 57 So he broke them into pieces, except the chief of them, that haply they may return to it. 58 'Who has done this to our gods' they exclaimed. 'He must surely be a harmdoer' 59 Said some [of them]: "We heard a youth speak of these [gods with scorn]: he is called Abraham." 60 They said: "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may testify." 61 [And when he came.] they asked: "Hast thou done this to our gods, O Abraham?" 62 He said, "Rather, this - the largest of them - did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak." 63 So they turned towards their own selves and (inwardly) said, “Indeed you yourselves are unjust.” 64 Then they were made to hang down their heads: Certainly you know that they do not speak. 65 He said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you? 66 Fie upon you and upon all that you worship instead of God! Will you not, then, use your reason?" 67 They said: 'Burn him and help your gods, if you are going to do anything' 68 We said: O fire! be a comfort and peace to Ibrahim; 69 They sought to outwit him, but We made them the worst of losers. 70 We took Abraham and Lot safely to the land in which We had sent blessings to the worlds. 71 We gave him, in excess, Isaac, and Jacob (for a grandson); and We made each righteous 72 And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only). 73 AND UNTO Lot, too, We vouchsafed sound judgment and knowledge [of right and wrong,] and saved him from that community which was given to deeds of abomination. [We destroyed those people - for,] verily, they were people lost in evil, depraved 74 And We caused him to enter into Our mercy; verily he was of the righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
