And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He said: "You see, I forgot the fish on the rock where we had stopped. Only Satan made me forget to mention this; but the wonder is the fish escaped to the sea." 63 Moses said: "That is what we were looking for." So the two turned back, retracing their footsteps, 64 and there they found one of Our servants upon whom We had bestowed Our mercy, and to whom We had imparted a special knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
