They will ask thee of the mountains (on that day). Say: My Lord will break them into scattered dust. 105 and leave the earths level and bare, 106 “In which you shall neither see ups nor downs.” 107 On that day they will follow their caller without deviation. Their voices will be low in the presence of the Beneficent God. You will hear nothing but the tread of the marching feet. 108 That Day intercession will profit not except him for whom the Compassionate giveth leave, and of whom He approveth the word. 109 He knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them: but they shall not compass it with their knowledge. 110 ۞ And the faces shall be humbled before the Living, the Self-subsistent Allah, and he who bears iniquity is indeed a failure. 111 but he who does good works, being a believer, shall fear no harm nor any injustice." 112 Thus we have revealed it as a Lecture in Arabic, and have displayed therein certain threats, that peradventure they may keep from evil or that it may cause them to take heed. 113 So high exalted be God, the true King!
