[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 Knower of the unseen and the visible; He is exalted above all that which they associate with Him. 92
