And could you but see when the guilty shall hang down their heads before their Lord: Our Lord! we have seen and we have heard, therefore send us back, we will do good; surely (now) we are certain. 12 Had We intended We could have given every soul its guidance; but inevitable is My word that I will fill up Hell with men and jinns together. 13 (We shall say to them): 'Now taste, for you forgot the encounter of this Day, We have forgotten you. Taste Our eternal punishment, for that which you were doing' 14 Only those who believe in Our verses, when reminded of them, prostrate themselves and exalt with the praise of their Lord in humility; ۩ 15 Who forsake their beds to cry unto their Lord in fear and hope, and spend of that We have bestowed on them. 16 No one knows what delights of the eyes are kept hidden for them as a reward for their deeds. 17 Shall he, therefore, who is a believer, be like unto him who is a transgressor? They are not equal. 18 And as for those who believe and work rigteous works - for them are Gardens of Abode: an entertainment for that which they have been working. 19 As for the evil-doers, their refuge shall be the Fire. Every time they want to escape from it they shall be driven back and shall be told: “Taste the chastisement of the Fire which you used to reject as a lie.” 20 And We shall indeed make them taste the smaller punishment before the greater punishment, so that they may return. 21 Who does greater wrong than someone who, when revelations of his Lord are recited to him, turns away from them? We shall inflict retribution on the guilty. 22
