Hizb 46

And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden, 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 And a fish swallowed him, and he was reproaching himself. 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will ye not then receive admonition? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows for the prayers (as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers); 165 And we are those who sing hallelujas to Him." 166 What though they would say, 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And watch and they shall see (the torment)! 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
